Plans for the Future

I am about to start of six months of creativity the longest period I have set aside for new work in last 15 years so it’s going to be very interesting. I plan to photographing the north circular, a 27mile of urban inspiration. This project has been in my mind for a long time and it's all to do with my family's historical connection to London, so I am really pleased to finally have time to work on it.

I hope to start photographing Brussels in August. If we are about to leave the European Union it feels like a good time to take a good look at the heart of what we are about to leave behind. In November the plan is to go back to Milan to take the project ‘A Short History of the Milan’ to next level and show the new work in February Affordable Art Fair Milan. So that’s the plan.

Conventionally all our framed work is dry-mounted onto aluminium. This ensures a very flat image surface in the short and the long term. The prints are matted (window mounted) using a museum quality 100% cotton rag board especially manufactured to be compatible with the C-type archival Kodak photographic paper Richard uses. He makes the prints in his own dark room. The print sizes are taken from traditional photographic paper sizes. Traditionally with photographic prints they are signed and numbered on the back, they can be signed on the front of the mount by request.
