I visited Haddenham Steam Rally in 1993 and the pictures are part of my series 'A View of the Fens from the Car with Wings'. It's certainly a place of the weird and wonderful, a step back in time where technology through the ages is celebrated, particularly steam of course.
I wasn't really there for the steam but for the vintage cars, caravans and the old tyme fair. I found some really exciting things to photograph to add to my ongoing series 'A View of the Fens from the Car with Wings'. It was a tricky shoot because I only had one shot on one roll of Kodak Ektar 100, when I tried to buy some more there was none in the country. So I went into my film fridge and brought a selection of film with me, some Fujicolor SuperG100 and Kodak Gold which might have been in my fridge for 26 years so we will have to wait to see the results.
