ICES, bold colour blocking pop art street photography from Richard Heeps 'On-Sea' series

Created as an ode to childhood visits to grandparents living on the Sussex coast, the artwork tells the story of the simple joys of the British seaside with bold graphic typography, but the iconic ice cream cone surreally suspended on a colour block has created a conceptual piece of art.

"This living room is a bold and inviting space, perfect for entertaining. The deep blue walls provide a dramatic backdrop, enhancing the warmth of the leather sofa, wooden accents, and the soft glow of the chandelier. The carefully selected artwork takes centre stage, serving as a unifying element that ties the entire scheme together.

With the room's high ceilings, statement pieces were essential. I chose two striking artworks from Richard Heeps' 'Wicken Fen' collection for their ability to complement the rich colour palette while introducing an additional layer of depth and visual intrigue. These artworks don't just echo the tones of the room; they bring a sense of narrative and balance, elevating this beautiful space to something truly special." Zoe Kho
