'Colony at Dawn' photograph from Richard Heeps 'Dream in Colour' series. This artwork features the classic mid-century architecture of Ballantines Movie Colony, California, set against the Palm Springs mountainous landscape, captured at dawn.

Richard's eye caught this unique moment at the Welney Wetlands Trust when 'wings' being a theme of the project it seemed like a perfect artistic representation. It is typical of Richard's theme of playing with the parallels of reality.

The artwork is a limited edition gloss photographic print from negative. When framed the print is dry-mounted to aluminium, presented in a museum board white window mount and a choice of black or white box frame handmade professionally in the UK. It is signed and numbered on reverse accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
