A dramatic sky, separated by clouds creating the sense of heaven and earth above the vast ancient fen of Hake's Drove, Cambridgeshire. Photograph from Richard Heeps series 36 Minutes in Cambridgeshire.
This is a photograph from a collection of 36, born from an idea to produce a set of photographs that followed The Meridian Line and its route through Cambridgeshire, one for each minute of Latitude. The images would go through, over and under whatever came in the path of the camera’s lens and through the Fens would involve people and communities throughout Cambridgeshire, many in isolated locations.
