I have passed the Tin Tabernacle on the road through Fen Ditton in Cambridge, many times and always said that I must photograph it. It really reminds me of a roadside chapel in America, especially the way it stands in such an isolated position. The sun was shining on the Friday of the UK August Bank Holiday so I loaded my camera gear into my van and headed to the church to finally photograph it.
It was interesting how many people passing the church stopped to chat and as I was leaving the vicar appeared and invited us into the church, he told us it's history, and about its recent restoration.
