Pretty Cool People

Richard Heeps worked as a theatre photographer for many years which meant he honed his skills to capture people in fleeting moments. The people you see in this collection are not staged (except one or two), but Richard knew them well and photographed them many times meaning he became less intrusive and the moments captured more natural. Fifties rockabilly lifestyle enthusiasts and burlesque performers create an iconic aspirational look.
